Terms & posting rules

Posting sales on the Milk Locator

• Post only sales you're hosting or have the host's OK to post. The address and times are public.
• Every post is reviewed before it shows, and we can edit, decline or remove any post.
• Keep it accurate. Use your private edit link to change or cancel your sale.

Items for sale (classifieds)

• One item (or one matching set) per listing, with an honest price, description and your own photos.
• Only list things you own and have the right to sell, and that are legal to sell where you live.
• Listings are reviewed before they show and stay up for 30 days. You can renew in the last week, and mark sold or delete anytime with your private link.
• No links, phone numbers or emails in the listing. Buyers reach you through the message form.
• No reposting the same item to bump it. Duplicates are declined.

What can't be listed

• Guns, ammunition, gun parts and accessories, explosives, fireworks, and weapons like switchblades or brass knuckles
• Alcohol, tobacco, vapes, e-cigarettes, cannabis, CBD/THC products and drug paraphernalia
• Prescription or over-the-counter medicine, medical devices that need a prescription, and supplements
• Live animals, pets and animal parts from protected species
• Recalled products (check cpsc.gov/Recalls), used car seats and cribs that don't meet current safety rules
• Counterfeit, replica or stolen goods, and anything you don't have the right to sell
• Adult products or content
• Hazardous materials: chemicals, gas cans with fuel, propane tanks that aren't empty, and pesticides
• Gift cards, tickets, lottery tickets, coupons, currency and financial products
• Vehicles, boats, real estate, rentals, jobs and services (auto parts are fine)
• Personal information, accounts, digital downloads and anything illegal where you live

Messaging sellers

• Messages go to the seller by email from [email protected], with your email as the reply-to address, so the seller sees your email. The seller's email stays private until they reply.
• Use messaging only to ask about the item. No spam, ads, scams or harassment. We limit how many messages can be sent and can block senders.
• MilkGrade isn't part of any sale. We don't hold money, check items or guarantee buyers or sellers. Meet in a public place, bring a friend, and never pay or send codes before you see the item.

Cream Points

• Points are earned only for approved posts: 10 for a sale or flea market, 5 for an item listing, 2 for an approved photo or correction. Rejected and duplicate posts earn nothing, and you can earn up to 30 points for the posts you send in one day.
• Points belong to the email you posted with. Every 50 points adds 1 extra Milk-o-Meter check to the account for that email. Points and checks have no cash value and can't be sold or transferred.
• If a post turns out to break these rules, we can remove it and take back its points. We may change or end Cream Points; checks already added stay on your account.

• Values, grades and estimates on MilkGrade are automated estimates, not guarantees.
