FAQ — straight from the jug

What is the Milk-o-Meter?

MilkGrade's value checker. Link an eBay listing, or add photos of something from Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, OfferUp or a yard sale, and it gives you an estimated resale value and, if you add the price, a BUY, NEGOTIATE or PASS call.

What is The Daily Pour?

Our live deal feed and grader: enter a zip and it ranks nearby auction lots with an estimated resale value, your bid math and a BUY, NEGOTIATE or PASS grade. For liquidation manifests, use the Pallet / manifest tab in the Milk-o-Meter.

Where do the Amazon and eBay values come from?

Amazon values come from Keepa price history when connected, otherwise from the retail implied by the manifest. eBay values come only from the official eBay Browse API (current asking prices on active listings) when connected, otherwise from a modeled resale estimate. Every value shows its source label.

Do you scrape eBay or auction sites?

No. We never scrape eBay or use eBay sold data, and we never fetch storage or government auction pages. You paste the description; we record the link as your source.

Which tools are free?

Five Free Sample calculators run in your browser: the Pallet / manifest check in the Milk-o-Meter (quick grade), Cream Counter (fees and profit), Skim or Swim (flip check), Milk Run (shipping) and Per-Pint (price per unit). The Milk-o-Meter (2 free photo checks, plus 3 eBay link checks a day) and the Milk Locator are free too, and your first full Manifest Check is on the house.

How much are the plans?

Skim is $6.99 a month (25 Milk-o-Meter checks), Whole Milk is $18.99 a month (100 checks) and Cream Top is $24.99 a month (300 checks). Plans bill monthly through Stripe, checks reset each billing month and unused checks don't roll over. Cancel anytime from your account page. Coming soon to paid plans: deal alerts, the sourcing calendar, the full manifest check + PDF, live eBay data and the weekly Dairy Digest. Details on the pricing page.

What if I run out of checks?

Subscribers can add 10 extra Milk-o-Meter checks for $2.99, one-time, from the account page or when your monthly checks run out. Extra checks never expire and are used only after your monthly checks are gone. Or upgrade to a bigger plan anytime.

Is this financial advice?

No. All numbers are modeled estimates. Check condition, fees and your own costs before you buy.

What do Cream, Skim and Spoiled mean?

Cream of the Crop = BUY. Skim = NEGOTIATE (worth it at a lower price). Spoiled = PASS.

Do you keep my manifest?

Manifests are used to run your check. See our privacy policy.
